Cholesterol – Myths Exposed

This is a myth

The idea that too much animal fat and high cholesterol are dangerous to your heart and vessels is nothing but a myth.

There is no data that shows all positive results of a low fat, high carbohydrate diet on triglycerides. Uric acid, cholesterol, blood pressure and cardiac output in people with existing diseases over 2 or 3 years. In fact there is none! It does not exist.

I just wonder why

There are no studies undertaken to find out why people are getting obese and the underlining reasons for it. Could it be that what the establishment and the people behind it know is detrimental to their vested interests.

Here are some astonishing and frightening facts. Let the truth prevail! View the video below and form your own conclusion. Please give us  your comment. Your feedback is important to us to bring you more videos that you like.

Cholesterol – Fear

Your Fear of Cholesterol Could Be Killing You

If you are like most people and you honestly believe that keeping a low blood cholesterol level. And avoiding fatty food  is  the answer to escaping the deadly clutches of heart disease. You are deadly wrong!

For years you have been watching your cholesterol levels like a hawk. You have been carefully trimming the fat from your meat. Drinking skim milk and eating only the lowest fat food you can find. Your doctor even advised you to take statins. The cholesterol-lowering drugs that will allegedly slash your risk of heart disease by one-third!

You are wasting your time and money

You don’t know it yet. But you have fallen for the biggest scam in the history of medicine. However, you are not alone. Your neighbors, your doctor, the journalists  who write the health articles in your daily newspaper. Even thousands of experienced researchers have also been effortlessly taken in by this elaborate con.

It is time that the truth be known

Despite years of vilifying animal fats and instilling cholesterol paranoia in people all over the world. The sad reality is that the age-adjusted incidence of heart disease has not declined one iota!

The medical establishment is not preventing heart disease from happening. It is only extending the lives of those who already have heart disease. If the anti-cholesterol, anti-fat campaign was effective in reducing heart disease. It would stop people from having heart attacks in the first place. But,  the incidence of heart attack is steadily on the increase instead.

How many more lives must needlessly be lost

before people realize they have been conned? The truth is cholesterol does not cause heart disease. There are a mountain of evidence from reviewed medical journals that confirms it. This shocking, sordid tale of the cholesterol scam is mind-boggling.

Based on ignorance, corruption, deceit and greed, the Great Cholesterol Con is that:

Everything You have Been Told About Cholesterol, Diet and Heart Disease is Wrong!

Cholesterol – Niacin

Niacin or nicotinic acid

is one of the water-soluble B vitamins. It improves all lipoproteins when given in doses well above the vitamin requirement. Nicotinic acid lowers the total cholesterol. The LDL-cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and triglyceride levels. At the same time it raises the HDL-cholesterol (good cholesterol) level.

There are two types of nicotinic acid

The immediate release and the timed release. Most doctors recommend starting with the immediate-release form. Ask your doctor which type is best for you. Nicotinic acid is inexpensive and widely accessible to patients without a prescription. Sadly, it is not used for cholesterol lowering.

All patients taking nicotinic acid to lower serum cholesterol should be closely monitored by their doctor to avoid complications from this medication. Self-medication with nicotinic acid should definitely be avoided because of the possibility of missing a serious side effect if not under a doctor’s care.

Nicotinic acid are usually started on low daily doses and gradually increased to an average daily dose of 1.5 to 3 grams per day.Nicotinic acid can reduce LDL-cholesterol levels by 10 to 20 percent. It can also reduce triglycerides by 20 to 50 percent. It is also able to raise HDL-cholesterol by 15 to 35 percent.

A common side effect of nicotinic acid

is flushing or hot flashes. Most patients develop a tolerance to flushing and it can be decreased by taking the drug during or after meals.

Cholesterol – Management

Cholesterol and what is it?

Unfortunately there is a lot of misinformation about cholesterol. For instant, if you will to ask anyone. What is the major cause of heart disease. They will answer excess CHOLESTEROL in your blood.

And that is 100% incorrect,

because not one medical studies in the last 40 years has proven that cholesterol actually causes heart disease. What you hear and read about are half-truth and sometimes lies that people with vested interest can benefit from.

Please view the video below to enlighten yourself.

Dr Whiting on Natural Cholesterol Management

I hope this will convince you that the major cause of heart disease is not cholesterol. It is in fact, inflammation.  If you have high elevated cholesterol the problem have to be addressed. The most likely culprit is your liver.

The function of your liver is to monitor and regulate the amount of cholesterol in your body. It does that automatically. Any excess or elevated cholesterol is  probably due to the malfunctioning of the liver.

Another likely cause is the consumption of polyunsaturated oil omega-6 which is bad for the health. Like corn oil, soy oil and many others which come under different brand names.

Cholesterol – It works for you

Cholesterol works for you

There have been many discussions before in other posts on this important cholesterol topic. Cholesterol is very essential for the proper functioning of the nervous system in your body. The body system constantly engages in a balancing act automatically. It will take into account the needs of the various parts of your body and organs.

Statins are absolutely dangerous.

Statins acting on the mevalonate pathway reduce the production of co-enzyme  CoQ-10 (ubiquinone.  This CoQ-10 is essential for proper heart functioning. Competent and knowledgeable physicians and doctors  know this.  They  very rarely tell their patients on statins to supplement with CoQ-10. For reasons they only know.

This  omission

In my opinion,  constitutes malpractice and medical neglect. Statins manufacturers are also aware of the depletion of CoQ-10 in the body. They NEVER promote this supplementation out of fear that people will buy less of their products. So much for their ethics and professionalism.

So be aware and be  knowledgeable consumers and monitor your own health carefully.

Cholesterol – Depression

For the first time

Indian Scientists have evidence of the link between cholesterol-lowering drugs and depression. People take these drugs to prevent heart attack.

Anti-cholesterol drug causes depression

‘Statins’ lowers the cholesterol level by inhibiting a key enzyme responsible for its biosynthesis in the body. They are extensively used as oral drugs to treat “hypercholesterolemia.”

Although they are very effective in reducing cholesterol levels in humans. There is a growing concern that chronic use of statins causes depression and anxiety in patients.

A number of publications in medical journals have reported apparent symptoms of anxiety, major depression and muscle ache in patients after long-term statins use.  Why should this happen and lead to changes in complex behavioral manifestations has been a mystery and puzzle.

The scientists

The scientists have shown that chronic cholesterol depletion when using statins impairs the function of the receptors for serotonin.  Serotonin is a neurotransmitter in the brain that controls mood and behavior.

Statins – The Dark Side

Cholesterol-Doctors Wrong

We now know that

heart diseases like stroke and heart attack are caused by inflammation and not cholesterol.

To know and understand what causes inflammation.

Imagine yourself  rubbing a stiff brush repeatedly over your soft skin until it becomes quite red and nearly bleeding. Do this several times a day,  every day for five years. The result will be a bleeding, swollen and infected area that will become worse with each repeated injury.

This is one way to visualize the inflammatory process that could be going on in your body right now. Regardless of where the inflammatory process is taking place, externally or internally the process is the same.

What causes inflammation?

If you have a bleeding and swollen infected area that became worse with each repeated injury. This is precisely how the  inflammatory process begins. A diseased artery when someone took a brush and scrubbed repeatedly against its wall.

Its just like, several times a day,  every day, the food we eat create small injuries adding into more injuries. Causing the body to suffer continuously and resulting in inflammation. While we might be enjoying the tantalizing taste of a sweet roll. Our bodies react alarmingly as if a foreign invader has just arrived and declaring war.

Foods loaded with sugars and simple carbohydrates, processed omega-6 oils ( for long shelf life) have been the mainstay of the American diet for more than 60 years. These foods have been slowly poisoning everyone.

How does eating a simple sweet roll create

a series of inflammation and make you sick? Just imagine spilling syrup on your keyboard. This is similar to what happens inside the cell. When we consume simple carbohydrates such as sugar. Blood sugar rises rapidly.

The result is, your pancreas secretes insulin whose primary purpose is to drive sugar into each cell where it is stored for energy. If the cell is full and does not need glucose, it is rejected to avoid extra sugar gumming up the works. When this happens the cells reject the extra glucose. Blood sugar rises producing more insulin and the glucose converts them into stored fat.

What does all this have to do with inflammation?

Blood sugar is controlled in a very narrow range in the body.  It is the extra sugar molecules that attach to a variety of proteins that in turn injure the blood vessel wall. This repeated injury to the blood vessel wall sets off inflammation.

When you spike your blood sugar level several times every day. It is exactly like rubbing sandpaper to the inside of your delicate blood vessels. These diseased blood vessels become inflamed.

While omega-6’s are essential –they are part of every cell membrane controlling what goes in and out of the cell. They must be in the correct balance with omega-3’s. If the balance is out by consuming excessive omega-6, the cell membrane produces chemicals called cytosine that will directly cause inflammation.

American mainstream diet today

has produced an extreme imbalance of these two fats. The ratio of imbalance ranges from 15:1 to as high as 30:1 in favor of omega-6. That is a tremendous amount of cytosine causing inflammation.

In today’s food environment, a 3:1 ratio would be optimal and healthy. The process that begins with a sweet roll turns into a vicious cycle. Over time that creates heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and finally, Alzheimer’s disease. As the process of inflammatory continues unabated.

The more you consume cooked and processed food. The more you aggravate  the inflammation  little by little each day. The human body cannot process nor was it designed to consume food packed with sugars and soaked in omega-6 oils.

To overcome inflammation

there is only one solution. That is by consuming food that are closer to their natural state. To build  muscle,  eat more protein. Eat carbohydrates that are very complex such as colorful fruits and vegetables. Cut down or eliminate inflammation-causing omega-6 fats like corn and soybean oil. And the processed food that are made from them.

One tablespoon of corn oil contains 7,280 mg of omega-6; soybean contains 6,940 mg. Better to use olive oil or butter from grass-fed beef. Animal fats contain less than 20% omega-6 and are much less likely to cause inflammation than the supposedly healthy oils labeled polyunsaturated.

The science that saturated fat raises blood cholesterol is very vague and weak.

Since we now know that cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease. The concern about saturated fat is even more absurd today. The cholesterol theory led to the no-fat, low-fat recommendations has created the very food that is  causing an epidemic of inflammation.

Mainstream medicine made a terrible mistake when it advised people to avoid saturated fat in favor of foods high in omega-6 fats. We now have an epidemic of arterial inflammation leading to heart disease and other silent killers, because of that.

What you can do is choose whole food your grandmother served

and not those your mom purchased from the grocery store aisles filled with manufactured food. By eliminating inflammatory foods and adding essential nutrients from fresh unprocessed food. You will reverse years of damage in your arteries and throughout your body from consuming the typical American diet.

Cholesterol – Doctor Admits

Heart Surgeon Admits Huge Mistake!

Physicians with all their training, knowledge and authority often acquire a rather large ego that tends to make them difficult to admit they are wrong.

Here is a story of one surgeon who had the courage to admit of being wrong.

“As a heart surgeon with 25 years experience and having performed over 5,000 open-heart surgeries, today is my day to right the wrong with medical and scientific fact.

Being trained for many years with other prominent physicians labeled “opinion makers”.  Bombarded with scientific literature, continually attending education seminars. We opinion makers insisted heart disease resulted from the simple fact of elevated blood cholesterol.

Thus, the only accepted therapy was prescribing medications to lower cholesterol. A diet that severely restricted fat intake. The latter, we insisted would lower cholesterol and heart disease. Deviations from these recommendations were considered heresy and could quite possibly result in malpractice”.

However, this Is Not Working!

These recommendations are no longer scientifically or morally defensible. Because of the discovery a few years ago that inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease.

In fact, the long-established dietary recommendations have created epidemics of obesity and diabetes.

In spite of the fact that 25% of the population takes expensive statin medications and have reduced the fat content of their diet. More Americans will die this year of heart disease than ever before.

Statistics from the American Heart Association show that 75 million Americans currently suffer from heart disease.  20 million have diabetes and 57 million have pre-diabetes. These disorders are affecting younger and younger people in greater numbers every year.

Without inflammation being present in the body. There is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessel and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended.

It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped.

Inflammation is not complicated. It is quite simply your body’s natural defense to a foreign invader such as a bacteria, toxin or virus. The cycle of inflammation is perfect in how it protects your body from these bacterial and viral invaders.

However, if we chronically expose the body to injury by toxins or foods the human body was never designed to process. A condition occurs called chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation is just as harmful as acute inflammation is beneficial.

What thoughtful person would willfully expose himself repeatedly to foods or other substances that are known to cause injury to the body? Smokers,  but at least they made that choice willingly.

The rest of us have simply followed the recommended mainstream diet. That is low in fat and high in polyunsaturated fats and carbohydrates. Not knowing we were causing repeated injury to our blood vessels. This repeated injury creates chronic inflammation leading to heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity.

The injury and inflammation in our blood vessels is caused by the low fat diet that has been recommended for years by mainstream medicine.

What are the biggest culprits of chronic inflammation?  They are the overload of simple, highly processed carbohydrates (sugar, flour and all the products made from them). And the excess consumption of omega-6 vegetable oils like soybean, corn and sunflower that are found in many processed foods.

So all along we had been mislead and been told to lower our cholesterol and fats intake which are detrimental to our health.

Cholesterol And You

Many people are worrying themselves sick because of their fear of having high cholesterol. In fact, the word cholesterol has a bad reputation and is the most misunderstood word. Rightly or wrongly many vascular diseases are linked and associated with it.

These wrong assumptions and associations are the main causes of the misunderstanding about cholesterol. Resulting in circumstantial evidence blaming cholesterol for the many heart associated diseases, especially stroke and heart attacks.

Actually, cholesterol is an extremely important substance in our body. We require it for the normal functioning of our body. Each and every cell of our body contains cholesterol. It has great antioxidant properties that help in the prevention of many vital diseases.
