What are the indicators of autism?
Every person with autism is a unique individual in his or her own way. However, there are some common traits of autism. Some common characteristic and similarities in their pattern of behavior.
They are:
Poor social skills and having difficulties interacting with others.
They have difficulties with communication, like talking and relating with others.
They have restricted or repetitive activities or interests.
They have abnormal response to sensory issues such as touch, sound, light and smell.
Some of them have aggressive and self-injurious behavior like, head banging or biting themselves.
What is the intelligence level of a person with autism?
Many have moderate mental retardation while roughly one-third have normal intelligence levels (IQs). In addition, those with autism will have a higher likelihood of developing epilepsy than the general population.
Those with Asperger’s syndrome, which is often referred to as high-functioning autism, will typically have higher than average IQs. They function similarly to those who do not have autism.

Hi Ms Taylor Morris,
I like to thank you personally for making this awesome video to tell the world what having Autism – Asperger Syndrome really is and to make them aware of the real world you people are living in.
This is the most wonderful, enlightened and heart felt video I have ever seen. It really touches my heart that you are able to communicate so well and and give us the ‘real’ message. Hopefully, this will help make us understand the problems and difficulties you people have to overcome to being ‘you’, today.
